VENUE DETAILS
Situated in the heart of London, Candy Bar is just off Soho Square on Carlisle Street.
HISTORY:
The Candy Bar London started back in 1996 and gained the reputation as being "the most infamous girls bar in the World."
Since then, what has happened... well, 2011 has been pretty busy so far: London Pride was amazing, we've had some spectacular parties already! There's top class, female DJs that you simply have to come and hear, plus CANDY BAR GIRLS the TV show. If you missed the show, go to Channel 5 website and catch up if you still can.
Since Ku Bar bought Candy in January, so much has changed and we hope you like the difference. A new, friendly attitude in Candy being "run by girls, for girls" being the motto and making it a much more inviting place. Check out our Facebook page to see what we're up to and join the group Candy Girls to stay in the know.
INFORMATION:
Candy Bar has a majority girl door policy. We do let a small number of males come in to the venue but they must come in with females.
The venue has disabled toilet situated on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible on this level. Stairs lead to the other two levels.
When visiting the Candy Bar our door staff will politely ask to carry out a bag search to ensure that no liquids or food items are brought into the venue. We also have a strict drugs policy and any such item will be confiscated resulting in immediate refusal into the club and a possible long term ban.
Please be aware that bags, coats and other large items are not allowed in our Basement Bar as they are hazardous during fire evacuations. You will be asked to place your items in the cloakroom which is situated on the top floor.
